Behind the Camera
It all started when…
I stumbled into the world of photography when my Dad gave me his Nikon d40x in 2014, and told me to "go play". I took the camera to my rehearsals for Little Shop of Horrors, and had a blast taking photos of my friends. Capturing their true personalities in a still image was the first time I realized “I want to take as many photos as possible, and bring this joy to everyone”. I still enjoy theatre photography, but I also love documenting all of life's momentous occasions, and celebrating the beauty of the human race via portrait photography.
My experience as a Senior Portrait Photographer with Lifetouch's Prestige Seniors Program allowed me to travel across Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania, taking photos of high school seniors. I also enjoyed my job photographing guests at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament. As a freelance photographer, it’s very fulfilling when I help Community Theatres by providing them with photos of their productions, when a photo boosts someone’s self-confidence, or provides cherished memories to couples and families.
